The North Harbour Club’s AIMES Awards provide cash grants to young people aged 14-25 achieving excellence in the North Harbour region. Awards that allow young people to pursue their dreams in their chosen field are offered in six main award categories (The Arts, IT & Innovation, Music, Education, Sport, Service to the Community), alongside Emerging Talent and Junior (10-13 years) Excellence Awards.
The North Harbour Club was established to promote the North Harbour region, to offer opportunities for businesses in the region to network for the good of the region, and to form a Trust to raise funds and present scholarships to the youth of the North Harbour region (AIMES Awards).
Hospice North Shore aims to “Make each day the best day possible”. It offers palliative care, inpatient and in-home services, counselling, chaplaincy and Pou Arahi support, physiotherapy and pharmacist services, a Hospice day group programme, and a 24 hour helpline for people with terminal illnesses, and for their families.
The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust supports the greater Auckland and Coromandel communities with emergency medical or accident evacuation and search and rescue support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Keystone Trust has been giving students a hand up into property-related tertiary studies for the past 20 years, through scholarships for students who might not otherwise be able to afford tertiary education. The Trust offers six Keystone Study Awards (for students going from high school into tertiary study) and seven Key Partner Scholarships (students currently studying at tertiary level) that provide both financial and pastoral care support as recipients progress through their studies.
